Custom software development

Custom software for the animal, wildlife & pest world.

Our SaaS products cover a lot of ground — but not everything. When a shelter, rehabilitation center, control operator, veterinary program, or government agency needs software no product on the market provides, we design and build it from scratch.

Eight production SaaS products across animal welfare, wildlife, and pest control back every custom build.

Our focus

We only build in one world — yours.

Every project we take on serves animals, wildlife, pest management, or the agencies that regulate them. That focus means less time explaining your work and more time solving it.

Animal welfare organizations

Shelters, rescues, TNR coalitions, and spay/neuter programs that outgrew spreadsheets and generic shelter software.

Wildlife rehabilitators & conservation groups

Intake and patient records, species protocols, release tracking, volunteer coordination, and state reporting.

Pest & wildlife control operators

Field service workflows, inspections, device and station logs, route planning, and multi-branch operations.

Government agencies & councils

State wildlife departments, animal control, advisory councils, and boards that need software matching statute.

Veterinary & clinic programs

Voucher programs, mobile clinics, low-cost surgery scheduling, and referral coordination between providers.

Associations & industry networks

Membership portals, certification tracking, provider directories, and referral networks across many organizations.

What we build

Software shaped by your rules, not ours.

Whether it is a permit system for a state agency, an intake database for a rehabilitation center, or a field app for a control company, most builds combine the same proven pieces.

Permitting, licensing & compliance

Application intake, renewals, inspections, violations, and the reporting your regulations actually require.

Grant & funding programs

Online applications, reviewer scoring, awards, disbursement tracking, and final reports in one auditable trail.

Animal & case records

Intake to outcome tracking for animals, patients, colonies, or cases — with photos, medical notes, and history.

Field & mobile tools

Offline-friendly apps for technicians, officers, and volunteers working in the truck, the field, or the barn.

Public portals & directories

Searchable directories, mapped locations, public request forms, and self-service portals for the people you serve.

Role-based review workflows

Separate dashboards for staff, reviewers, board members, and administrators — each seeing only their own work.

Notifications & communication

Automated status emails, reminders, and campaigns with delivery, open, and click tracking plus opt-out handling.

Reporting & accountability

Dashboards, exports, and activity timelines that stand up to boards, funders, and public records requests.

Integrations

Microchip registries, payment processors, mapping, e-signature, accounting, and the state systems you rely on.

Why WildPipe

A software partner who speaks your language.

We already live in this world

We build and operate eight SaaS products for shelters, rehabilitators, field teams, and agencies. You are not explaining what a TNR colony, an intake exam, or a nuisance wildlife permit is.

Built for oversight

Public money, protected species, and animal records all invite scrutiny. We build in permissions, audit trails, and accessible public pages from day one.

Proven building blocks

Applications, reviews, records, routes, payments, and notifications are already solved in our products. Your budget goes toward what makes your program different.

Recent work

Custom platforms we've built and still support.

Two organizations, two very different mandates — both running on software designed around their exact rules.

Louisiana Pet Overpopulation Advisory Council

louisianapetoverpopulation.org

LPOAC is a Louisiana state advisory council that awards spay/neuter and TNR grants to nonprofits and veterinarians, funded by the state's “Animal Friendly” specialty license plate. The council ran on mailed paper applications, spreadsheets, and email threads, with a volunteer board reviewing every packet by hand.

We built one platform serving both the public and the council: an accessible site explaining the council, its grants, and the plate program, plus a secure member area where the whole grant lifecycle now lives — application to award to final report — along with a nationwide commemorative pet stamp contest created by a 2024 state law.

  • Online grant applications with document uploads
  • Applicant, reviewer, board & admin dashboards
  • Automated status emails with open & click tracking
  • Statewide commemorative pet stamp contest with paid entries

The result

Paper packets replaced with a platform.

Applicants apply online and track their status. Reviewers and board members score submissions from their own dashboards. Administrators manage users, send announcements, collect final reports, and see a full history of every decision.

Kentucky Wildlife Control Operators Association

kywcoa.com

KYWCOA is a statewide membership association formed in 2023 to represent Kentucky's wildlife control operators through advocacy, education, and public referrals. It needed a public home, a credible way for homeowners to find a permitted operator, and a member program it could run without a full-time staff.

We built the association's entire online presence: a searchable statewide directory of permitted nuisance wildlife control operators built from public KDFWR records, member-claimed profiles, free membership signup, and a members-only area — plus the training, legislative, laws, jobs, and press content the association publishes.

  • Statewide operator directory searchable by county & service
  • Automated imports of public KDFWR permit and training data
  • Member signup, profile claiming & members-only area
  • Referral assistant, contact routing & newsletter signup

The result

A public front door for an entire industry.

Kentucky homeowners can find a permitted operator in their county in seconds. Operators get a free listing they control, a path to membership, and a single place to follow training, regulations, and legislative activity affecting their businesses.
